Big City Comes to Small Town French Lick

This Friday March 31st, Charlie McIntosh – native of Paoli Indiana, and the owner of ‘Amelia’s‘ in Indianapolis – is hosting a dinner at the Legend of French Lick, with the proceeds from the event benefitting the Lost River Market and Deli. He will be bringing big city Indianapolis to small town French Lick with some other big name restaurants from Indianapolis for this fundraiser.

The Dinner by Charlie McIntosh has received many kind donations that will be featured during the evening including a whole hog to be roasted from Fischer Farms, beer and wine to be available for purchase from Black Acre & Bier Brewery and more! Dinner will be prepared by multiple top chefs of Indiana from the restaurants participating in the event from Indianapolis such as Milktooth, Smoking Goose, Amelia’s, Love Handle, and Bluebeard

To accompany all of the fun and excitement, a silent auction will be held featuring unique items and Lick Creek Band will also play that evening.

The idea for this fundraiser began in Indianapolis and tickets are already selling quickly! Tickets are priced at $30 per person so hurry and reserve your spot now! Take part in this unique event benefiting the Lost River Market and Deli; as well as enjoy a great meal, listen to live music, and partake in a silent auction. The Giraffes are Coming to Town

Last spring, three African elephants made their way in to town for a leisurely getaway. Makia, Lovie and Lou travel all the way from Florida once a year, where they reside at Wilstem Ranch and live in complete tranquility. Wilstem Ranch offers guests the chance to attend an educational seminar where they learn all about these amazing creatures and get up-close and personal for pictures, as well as the opportunity to participate in the spa bathing and their daily pampering in the enclosure. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and an experience you will remember forever.
